I have a lot of work to do today. When I'm done I'm freed to handicap.

I think we're gonna get "fast and firm"s throughout the country. That should help our handicapping.

I looked at today's races for a couple of hours last night and again this morning. Did you ever get into a funk where you look at the form and it's as though it was written in another language? Sometimes I'll handicap a race and everything looks so clear. It's as though I can visualize exactly how it will be run and who has the best chance of outrunning their odds. Then, on days like today, I don't have a clue.
Maybe my confidence is down after last weekends lousy results, or maybe it's just a bunch of bad cards, but I just do not feel good about today. I'll be playing, but cautiously. Probably a lot of following you guys.

There are days where lots of races seem to fit my style of handicapping. Other days nothing seems to come up. that I really feel good about.

Horse racing is definitely like that.
